James Pusateri, Consultant
Jim Pusateri began his career in senior housing over 15 years ago at Classic Residence by Hyatt, Monterey California. While with Classic Residence, he held positions as sales counselor and director of sales and marketing. Moving to The Greenbrier Corporation, Mr. Pusateri worked as a regional director of sales and marketing and corporate director of sales and marketing in Dallas, Texas where he was responsible for the new developments as well as the existing properties.
He left Greenbrier to accept a position with Brookdale Living Communities in Chicago, Illinois where he held positions as regional director of sales and marketing, corporate director of sales and marketing and corporate director of new project development. While at Brookdale, Mr. Pusateri’s responsibilities included conducting sales training for all in-house employees and working with his regional team as corporate director of sales and marketing to insure occupancy and revenue growth in new developments and existing properties. As corporate director of new project development Jim worked with the development team reviewing development plans and pro formas, oversaw the build-out and design of the information centers, hired and trained the staff and transitioned the new functioning unit to the regional sales and marketing and operations team.
Following his work at Brookdale, Mr. Pusateri joined LCOR Inc. as executive vice president of senior living. There he oversaw the development and operations of LCOR’s Senior Living Portfolio and developed and oversaw its first active adult community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Following his position as vice president of Performance Improvement Partners Consulting, Mr. Pusateri founded Aumento Consulting, LLC, which specialized in assisting senior living organizations with sales training and mentoring, improving occupancy, re-positioning properties and team building and coaching, as well as departmental communication improvement.
